I offer 1-to-1 sessions, face to face or online therapy sessions for a wide range of issues that can affect adults who may be going through a difficult time in their life. I have experience in:
If you are struggling with an addiction, whether it be substance abuse, alcohol, gambling or any other destructive habit, I can guide you through overcoming your addiction.
Anxiety can be debilitating and cause stress, depression and a whole host of psychological and physiological manifestations. I offer a calm, safe environment to confront your anxiety.
Low self-esteem and confidence issues can impact your personal and professional life. By talking to a counsellor, we can work together to help alleviate through these problems.
Losing a loved one or close friend can have a devastating effect on your outlook, and the grief can linger for a long time. My bereavement counselling will help you come to terms in your own time.
Relationships are a key part of our lives. However that doesn't mean they're easy. Whether you are in an abusive relationship, or simply need advice and guidance on how to deal with a problem in your relationship, I can help.
Abuse comes in many forms, whether physical, psychological or sexual, the trauma caused by abuse can leave you feeling isolated. I offer a judgement-free environment to open up about your abuse.
Self -defeating behaviours are on-going unhealthy negative patterns of behaviours, that move you away from your goals. These behaviours are distracting and self sabotaging. By exploring these patterns and behaviours we can work together to get your life back on track.
Trauma is an emotional response to a deeply distressing or disturbing event that overwhelms a person's ability to cope, which in turn causes feelings of helplessness, diminishes their sense of self and their ability to feel a full range of emotions and experiences.
I believe that individuality is a person's uniqueness.
People are unique because of their life experiences, upbringing, social, religious and cultural identity, personality, abilities and skills. I take all of this into account with each of my clients, and use an Integrative approach that allows me to listen, gather information and provide guided feedback that will steer you on the path towards positive growth
I have a private therapy room at my home in Southampton that offers a calming, non-judgemental safe space where you can feel relaxed and understood. I can also offer either a phone consultation or zoom sessions.
Once you have completed your consultation with myself, I will suggest the right counselling therapies to you and adjust them to best suit your personality and your personal situation. No two people are the same.
My role as a psychotherapist and counsellor is to be a guide, a professional pathfinder who will work with you and encourage you on your journey towards positive growth, healthy thinking and to become the best version of yourself.
